We're on a Mission to care for our community

Since 1920 the Auckland City Mission has been a leader in developing innovative social services. Supporting Auckland's most marginalised, the Mission offers hope to thousands of individuals and families every year.

The Mission:

• Works with the Homeless, providing a range of integrated services to help them re-build their lives and re-establish themselves in the wider community.
• Ensures that nutritious food is available to everyone through their Emergency Food Parcel and community Foodlink support.
• Provides free health care to children under 18 years of age and low cost GP services to all Aucklanders at the Calder Centre.
• Assists families struggling to provide for themselves and their children through short term crisis or the long term effects of poverty.
• Helps individuals take the first step towards freeing themselves from addictions at the Missions 10 bed residential Detoxification facility.
